Solution:
This was my long awaited trip to New York, and I wanted to pay for it all in cash so as not to mess up my budget. What I did was with every check I deposited I took cash out, rolls of quarters more specifically because they are harder to spend. A week before my trip I took the quarters into the bank and deposited them back into my account, then the day before I left I took that amount out for my spending money.
